For our 18th talk, we spoke with Claudia King, who is the Development Director for Summit Advocates! Summit Advocates is a Colorado based organization that advocates on behalf of domestic abuse victims. Since the pandemic, there has been about a 30% increase in domestic violence in areas affected by COVID-19. We breakdown these statistics and discuss how their organization has been a bright light for those dealing with abuse. October is Domestic Awareness month.
