For our 14th talk, we once again had the honor to speak with our friend, Loren Avedon. Loren is a 9th degree black belt and Grandmaster in Taekwondo and Hapkido, and has starred in some classic martial arts movies: King of the Kickboxers, and No Retreat No Surrender 2 & 3! It was a fun time to finally dig into the reasons why Loren took the career path that he did! His training stories of Hapkido and breakdown of that martial art was eye-opening! This Spear Talk was part of our first Martial Arts Symposium!
